What is the tax and interest deduction worksheet and either how do I get rid of it or can I just ignore it?

Yes, you can ignore it. It is supporting details for Schedule A, Itemized Deductions.

TurboTax will automatically calculate your largest refund, using itemized deductions or standard deductions.

If you are taking the standard deduction and would prefer to delete the supporting detail to the unused Schedule A,

From the left menu>Tax Tools>Tools>Delete a Form>
Scroll to tax and interest deduction worksheet and click Delete. Answer the questions that follow and click Done.
Scroll to Schedule A and click Delete. Answer the questions that follow and click Done.
