Question

What is this Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet? I have never filled one out before

I'm assuming because I was trying to see all avenues for tax breaks it popped up. My return this year is less than 2019, so Turbotax asked me if I wanted to use 2019's return. So I clicked it, thinking I could just delete it after viewing it if it wasn't applicable to me (similar to how if you start a W-2, you can review, edit or delete it). I'm not sure if this is why, but it's the only thing I've done differently than other years.
However, I quickly realized I wouldn't qualify for the method of figuring out deductions I had just selected because I didn't save every receipt for 2019, so I backed out of it.
I live in Florida, if that matters.

I'm not quite sure where you are being asked if you wanted to use something from 2019.  You are asking about the Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet, but I would have suspected you to be in the earned income credit section if you are being asked about information from your 2019 return.   This is because of the law enacted on December 27 to help American's with income impacted by Covid.

In TurboTax, when you are in the earned income credit section, you will be asked if you want to use last year's earned income to calculate the credit.  If your earned income was less in 2019 than in 2020, you may get a higher EITC credit by using 2019 earned income.
