When Filing taxes in SC, where do you input property taxes paid on motor vehicles?

You will enter the property taxes based on the value of your vehicle that you paid in the Federal return.  It will be included with other itemized deductions.  

Use the following steps:

• On the top row of the TurboTax online screen, click on Search (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax locate the search box in the upper right corner) 
• This opens a box where you can type in “car registration” (be sure to enter exactly as shown here) and click the magnifying glass (or for CD/downloaded TurboTax, click Find)
• The search results will give you an option to “Jump to car registration”
• Click on the blue “Jump to car registration” link and enter your information
