When I go to the dependent care credit, it asks me if I paid for child care which I did, but doesn't let me or give me a spot to input info....HELP???

Follow these steps to get to the Child and Dependent Care Credit in TurboTax.

1. Open or continue your return
2. In the search field, search for child care credit
3. Select the Jump to link to be taken to the section

Go through the interview slowly.   After you answer YES that you had expenses, TurboTax will ask for which child you want to enter expenses for.   There should be a drop down menu where you can select from a list of eligible children.   If you don't see any qualifying children in the list, please go back through the dependent questions to ensure your dependent is properly listed as a dependent on your tax return.   

Click on My Info in the left side menu and review your dependent entries (click on Edit, or the pencil icon next to your dependents to review your entries).   If you do not have the dependent listed, you can add them from that section.
