using turbotax in 2024,  when will form 8936 be available for Tax year 2023? TT says "soon" like it said for more than a month now.   reading posts it sounds like last years availability was horrific.   Please help me get a accurate date.  Thanks

The IRS Form 8936 Clean Vehicle Credit for tax year 2023 is scheduled to be available in TurboTax on 02/21/2024 (subject to change)

Go to this TurboTax website for forms availability - https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product=Turbotax_online&bu=cg

Many federal and state forms are not yet available.  Check here for form availability. The dates are subject to change.

    Tax form availability tool,

No hurry to e-file since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject 2023 e-files until January 29.

Yup, I'm in the same boat.  Not having a form like 8936 ready for filing is quite a shot to the pocketbook. This form provides a significant credit of $7,500, so I would hope it would be ready soon -- I should not have to wait until late February for Pete's sakes. C'mon, Intuit!

Just read a thread from February 2022 that it took forever for Intuit to put this form into last year's TurboTax.  What's the delay?  The form is up on the IRS website.  Why have this delay AGAIN?

Really, nobody bought an qualifying EV in 2023?  Nobody needs the $7,500 credit?
