When will Turbotax update PMI information so that I can claim it?

One response to this question says that TurboTax has updated the PMI feature, but I'm still not able to access it. I just updated TurboTax 2/26/2018.

It's already showing in the software. Are you using the CD/Download version on a desktop or the online version?

I'm using CD version of Deluxe. There is no input for PMI that I can find.

Make sure the program is updated. You can't run with the CD in the drive, either, after installing you have to eject it and run from the hard drive. Look for a menu option to update the program.

Then, Mortgage Insurance is not a separate line item -- it is included in the mortgage interest/1098 interview. After entering your box 1 interest, click the next page to see boxes 2-5 (mortgage balance, date initiated, property taxes, and MIP/PMI).

If still not in your program after updating, the update is not working. Uninstall from the Windows control panel, then reinstall, install your state, and run updates again.
