When will TurboTax update to account for the newly approved PMI deduction for 2018?

When I tried to amend my return TurboTax said PMI was already accounted for but that should not be possible because the deduction was not approved by Congress until 12/20/2019.

You cannot amend a 2018 tax return using TurboTax since the IRS has not yet updated the 2018 Schedule A or the instructions for the 2018 Schedule A. TurboTax cannot update their forms or schedules until and unless the IRS approves of the changes.
