If the legal fees are for an unlawful discrimination claim or an IRS whistleblower award the deduction can only be entered in the CD/Download TurboTax software, not in TurboTax Online. If your legal fees are for one of those situations, post back here and I will give you detailed instructions for entering the deduction. In either case, note that the deduction cannot be more than the amount of the award that you are reporting as income.
