Solved

Where can I find the charitable contributions? I have already e-filed and have been asked to send receipts in. I've never had to do that for church donations. Help?

For some reason I think I ended up filing this under state, and not federal on accident. Please help!

Sorry, your question is unclear.  You can't list donations only on your state return.  They are listed in the main section (federal) and will flow to the state if you itemize deductions in your state.  Any tax authority (IRS or state) can ask for proof of your deductions at any time for any reason, sometimes it is just a random check.

Start by printing or downloading the PDF for "all forms and worksheets."  Cash contributions to charity are listed (just the total dollar amount) on line 11 of Schedule A.  Where they are listed on your state tax return depends on which state, we can't see your return so we don't know what to tell you without more information.  There should also be a charity contribution worksheet that lists the dollar amounts of each charity you claimed.
