I live in Canada, work in the US but also have a side job in Canada. Should i enter this under self employed income or somewhere else?

It depends. If you are a resident of Canada, your self-employed income will be reported on your Canadian return along with your US income. You would then report your US income in the US on a 1040NR (non-resident return) but there may be a requirement to report your self-employment income.

Turbo Tax does not file 1040NR returns but our affiliate sprintax does. Please refer to their website and software for more specific information.
