Where do you find your credit rate on your mortgage credit certificate?

    Each state may have different agencies that issue a mortgage credit certificate.

     

    A copy of a mortgage credit certificate for my state reads clearly in the center of the document:

     

    The Certificate Credit Rate is xx.0%

     

    At the screen Enter your mortgage credit certificate info, enter this information:

     

    • Name of the issuer of the certificate,
    • Certificate number,
    • Date the certificate was issued,
    • Mortgage interest paid (this information may come from an IRS form 1098 box 1), and
    • Credit rate percentage.
