Trying to see where to enter vehicle excise tax on my Indiana STATE return, which is supposed to be deductible.  Multiple searches and questions within TurboTax have not been helpful!

The deductible part of your vehicle registration in Indiana is the Excise Tax Fees you paid on your vehicle.

You would enter the amount on your federal return, TurboTax will carry over the information to your state return.

    1. Go to Federal
    2. Go to Deductions & Credits.
    3. Scroll down to Cars and Other Things
    4. Go to Car registration fees.
