Why am I being given an $8000 credit in CO for the Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit when I did not buy an electric or hybrid car.

I purchased a car from a private owner, but it is not hybrid or electric.

On the menu bar on the left.

Select Tax Tools
On the drop-down select Tools
On the Pop-Up menu select Delete a Form
This will give you all of the forms in your return
Scroll down to the form you want to delete a
Select 8910 This is the form for the Fed EV credit or DR 0617 for the CO Innovative Car Credit
Click on Delete.
Always use extreme caution when deleting information from your tax return. There could be unintended consequences.
