Why am I not able to enter the amount for dependent care credit when we both work full time and paid for childcare for the entire year of 2021?

Have you entered your W-2s? You cannot enter dependent care expenses until you have entered the W-2s for both of you. If you didn't get your W-2s yet, you'll have to wait until you get them.

When you enter your W-2s, make sure you select the correct person that each W-2 belongs to. If you select the same person for both W-2s, it will look like the other person has no earned income, which makes you ineligible for the dependent care credit.

Did you have an entry in box 10 of your W-2? This is the amount you or your employer contributed to your Dependent Care FSA. Any money used here cannot be applied to the Child and Dependent Care Credit.

When you say, "Why am I not able to enter the amount for dependent care credit ", please tell me what you are trying to do, and if you had entries in box 10 on either W-2.
