Why can't i continue, it was a cash sale, no mortgage?

If you do not have a mortgage and did not receive Form 1098, you can skip the Mortgage Interest and Refinancing section of your return. TurboTax asks Did you pay any home loans in 2021? Selecting No will bypass this section. If there is already an entry begun in that section, you can click the trashcan next to it to get rid of it. 

 

If you have property taxes to report, you can enter those in the Federal > Deductions & Credits > Your Home > Property (Real Estate) Taxes section. They do not need to be reported in the mortgage interest section.
