Question

Why can't I see and edit/add income for my 2020 sports officiating work? I can add a new category, but can't seem to edit to add the information from 2020 this year.

This income would likely have been reported on Schedule C. To return there, follow these steps:

  • From inside TurboTax, enter schedule c in the search box.
  • Select the Jump to link in the search results.

Since this income is subject to self-employment tax, you are allowed to reduce the income by ordinary and necessary business expenses, such as mileage.
