Question

Why does it ask me to put information about a car I never had before finishing my income tax

    The only thing I could think of, is if you used your "Online" account to file some other family member's, or friend's taxes last year.

    You can't do that with the "Online" software.   Only one person's (or couple's) tax return can be filed.  Other tax returns must have an entirely separate Online account UserID/pwd.

    For desktop users, they can create a new tax file for other family members, but it must be created as a new file.
