Question

Why does it keep asking me to fill out the Innovative Vehicle Credit form? I did not own a vehicle and thus have NO entry.

    Dr0617 form is used to calculate the innovative motor vehicle and innovative truck credit available for your purchase or lease of a qualifying motor vehicle or truck.

    If you are not claiming the credit:

    1. Open your CO state return 
    2. continue until you get to the screen Take a look at Colorado credits and taxes
    3. Scroll down to Innovative Motor Vehicle Credit
    4. On the screen Motor Vehicle Tax Credit Assigned to Financing Company? Answer Yes. (your answer won't be part of your state return).

     

    Another way is to try to delete form Dr0617:
