Why is it telling me my wife had a lapse in HDHP in 2017 because of a disability. She did not.

It sounds like you may have one HDHP and you may have answered the question about your wife's coverage by selecting Family or Self, but this question needs to be answered with None (because it's asking about her personal plan).

TT should ask the question better because this is very confusing. If filling joint it should say does your wife had its own plan instead of cover by a plan.
