Why is there no place to enter Vehicle Property Taxes on TT form?

Automobile property taxes may be deductible whole or in part depending upon the laws of the state as an itemized deduction on Schedule A Itemized Deductions.

 

Follow these steps to record the fees.

 

  • Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
  • Down the left side of the screen, click on Deductions & Credits.
  • Scroll down to Cars and Other Things You Own.  Click the down arrow to the right.
  • Click Start / Revisit to the right of Car Registration Fees.
