Why’s it asking for my child care provider and I don’t have one

Did you pay someone to watch your child or other dependent? If so, that is the provider TurboTax is looking for.

If you did not pay a provider for child or dependent care, then you are in the wrong part of the program. If you didn't make any child or dependent care expenses, then

1. Did you have a number in box 10 of your W-2? If so, then you have a Child and Dependent Care FSA, and you need to show who you paid the FSA funds to.

2. Can you delete form 2441 and have the issue go away?

In the desktop version of the product, just click on Forms on the upper right, go to the 2441, and click on Delete Form at the bottom.

In the Online version of the product, go to Tax Tools (on the left), then Tools (just underneath), then Delete a Form (center).
