Will my job related expenses transfer from federal deductions and credits over to my state or do i enter them manually?

You are correct, all of the deductions and expenses that were entered within the Federal section will be automatically transferred over to your State.
There may also be some additional deductions and credits that specifically apply to your state that you may qualify for, and those questions can be answered within the State section of TurboTax.
