With the itemized deductions does that mean i don't get a refund

Generally, TurboTax will only select Itemized Deductions for you if it will increase your refund or decrease your balance due.  Your refund is based on many factors including:

  • Your filing status.
  • Your total income.
  • Your total deductions (whether itemized or standard).
  • The number of eligible dependents listed on your return.
  • The amount of tax withheld from your paycheck.
