1098-T doesn't capture payments made in 2019.

My daughter graduated May 2019.  I made all payments for her final semester during the first week of January 2019.  However, her school produces their 1098-T based on payments received by 12/31/2018.  She has completed school.  The school sent me a statement of expenses that I paid in 2019, but it is not on a 1098-T.  How do I proceed?  I did receive a 1098-T, but it doesn't represent how I paid the bills.

If your box 1 does not show the correct amount paid, when filling out your form 1098-T in TurboTax, just enter the amount in box 1 of your form 1098-T on the entry screen.

Under box 1, on the 1098-T screen is a radio button: This is not what (student name) paid to this school. Click on that and you will be given a chance to enter what was actually paid in 2019.
