1098-T filing for daughter who now is married filing with husband

My daughter received a 1098-T for 2020. She later got married after graduation in mid-2020.  So now that she will file jointly with her husband, I cannot claim her as a dependent.

Even though I paid her tuition expenses in 2020, it seems there is no way for me to enter them in my tax return since she is now filing with her husband.  So does this mean I let her file the 1098-T in her return or is there some way for me to get the tax credit?

No, you are not able to take the education expenses as you are not able to claim her as a dependent for 2020. The expenses can only be used for those included on your tax return.

But, she can claim the expenses on her joint return with her spouse, even though you were the one who paid them.
