1098 T scholarship amount needs adjustment
Hi,
Last year 2023 I adjusted the amount of scholarships on the 1098T (deducted 6300 that was actually for 2024).
Now a I need to add that to 2024 1098T (increase scholarship by 6300).
It only seems to work if I put the adjusted amount in box 5 (ie, 20000 (current in box 5) + 6300 total 26300 in box 5).
So box 6 says Adjustments to Scholarships for Grants for a prior year (currently blank) Do I add the $6300 here also?
Just want to make sure I hit all the right boxes! Thank you
