My husbands 1098T box 1 shows $1144.00 box 5 shows $1797.90.
Since box 1 is less than box 2 it looks like its showing up on TURbo Tax  as added income from scholarship/grant. why and how do we correct this?

We didn't get that money. the school was sent by his employer.

    The only way it would not be reportable income would be if there were additional expenses. 

    Any amounts paid by the employer for your husband's college expenses are not deductible. Just keep Form 1098-T for your records.

    so we don't have to enter 1098T for his education? employer paid 100% tuition and books

    No, you don't need to file Form 1098-T since you had no out of pocket expenses.
