American Opportunity credit

TT incorrectly says I've already used 4 years of American Opportunity credit. 2021 would be my 4th year. How do i fix TT?

The only way that the program would say you took that credit 4 years is if you told it. Go back in the interview and find where it asked how many years you claimed the credit.

That's what i would have thought too. On one of the previous pages TT asked how many years i had already taken the credit. I answered 3 years. TT says "Already claimed 4 years of credit". So i went back and changed it to 2 years but TT is still saying "Already claimed 4 years of credit". I also tried making the update manually in FORMs but it isn't an editable field.

Try deleting the form, closing the program and then opening it again and start the interview again.
