I do not want to use American Opportunity Credit this year. The TurboTax system is making me use it as I get the best results for this year. I want to use tuition and fees deduction because I only took a few classes in one semester. I don't want to eat up my one of my four years. How do I get turbotax to not use American Opportunity Credit and use the tuition and fees tax deduction instead?
