No.

To claim your 1098-T, you'll need to amend your 2022 tax return to add that form 1098-T.

To enter your form 1098-T in TurboTax, follow these steps:

  1. Open your tax return
  2. Click on Deductions & Credits under Federal in the left panel
  3. Locate the Education section. Click on the down arrow on the right
  4. Select Start next to Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T)
  5. On the next page, click on Add a Student. Or if the student has already been added, click on Edit next to the name of the student. After a few screens, answer Yes on the page Did [student] get a 1098-T for the year 2023?

Please also read this TurboTax Help article on amending your 2022 Federal tax return.

A. No.

You would have amend your 2022 return to claim a tuition credit or report excess scholarship as taxable.  If you are your parent's dependent, then they would be the ones to claim a tuition credit, based on your 1098-T.
