Q. Can I claim internet access for college expense?
A. Probably not. Internet access probably qualifies as a "required" educational expense, but only if you acquired it specifically for education, and that's unlikely (usually you already had internet access before the education started).
But, as @xmasbaby0 pointed out, your bigger issue may be whether the school even qualifies as an "eligible institution" for claiming an education/tuition credit.
Schools that only offer online courses usually do not qualify. Online classes taken at schools that also have classroom instruction usually do count.
