Can I claim my son who is 21 and made under $2,000 dollars last year and isn’t in school

You may be able to claim him as a dependent because of his income level if he lived with you. I suggest you set him up as a dependent in TurboTax and answer the questions in the program. If he qualifies, then TurboTax will tell you so.
