Can I file my son's education expenses on my return?

My son is 19 years old and he is a freshman in the University. He has to file his own return because his intern income is above the threshold ($6300). The 1098T is issued in his name, but I pay his tuition. Since I already claim him as a dependent, can I file his 1098T on my return although the 1098T is on his? Or does he need to file on his return? Who claim his education expenses (1098T)? Thanks!

Yes, if you are claiming him as a dependent then the 1098-T goes on your tax return.
