Question

Can I rewrite the scholarship 2018 1098-T meant for 2018-2019 academic year, to respond to Turbo tax on other scholarship received in 2019, then a yes .

A yes answer would take you to the next turbo tax question of how much of the scholarship was used for  2019.

It depends. 

 

If you received the scholarship in 2019 and is not reported on your 2019 Form 1098-T, you would check Yes.  If you received in 2018, you cannot apply to your 2019 taxes.  You would need to amend your 2018 taxes.
