Can my brother still claim me on his taxes even though I am a full-time, independent student on my FAFSA?
I am an independent student but I live with my brother. Is he able to still claim me on his taxes?
Because you are a independent student on your FAFSA your brother is not able to claim you as a dependent. You are getting more financial aid because of your independency. It would jeopardize your financial aid if he claimed you.
