Can using my Segal Education Award from AmeriCorps service help to qualify me for Minnesota's Student Loan Credit?

I used my Segal Education Award last year and want to know if it helps to qualify me for the Minnesota Student Loan Credit. I paid in around 10% of the award out of pocket on my loans this year too, but I still owe in excess of $20k
