Can we claim the tuition and fees deduction? The program is telling me it is unavailable for 2018. However I believe it was extended and now that year is covered.

This was extended retroactively by tax laws passed at the end of 2019. However, it was not law when the tax software for 2018 was written.
Our programmers have not yet had a chance to update the 2018 program yet, as we have been busy with all of the 2019 changes! We expect to have that software updated by the middle of April.
