Cant get 1098 t for the money I paid for daughters tuition. Is there any other college credits i can get?

If Box 5 on your 1098-T is larger than the amount in Box 1, it indicates that you received Scholarships/Grants to cover your tuition and had no 'out of pocket' expenses to claim for the American Opportunity Credit.

Make sure you added Books and other Fees to your education expenses.

If you don't have a 1098-T and did pay for Education Expenses, EDIT your school in the Education section and indicate that you 'don't have a 1098-T' and qualify for an exception.  You can still enter your expenses and receive a credit (save your receipts).
