My daughter got a tuition refund. She did not recontribute the refund to the 529. I selected Yes she received a refund & no she didn't recontribute but when I go back the the "refund" screen, the answer has been changed to No. How do I stop this? Is it affecting the accuracy of my filing?

The program has a few questions that change due to their importance, causing you to verify each time you go through the section. The program holds your answer until you go through that question again. The key is to check your tax return before filing and verify it is correct. After you pay for the return, you can see the forms.

Another way of explaining it: that screen defaults to NO.  If you re-enter that screen,  it will go back to NO.  But, when  you change it to YES, it will stay YES, unless you go back there.
