Okay, I continued to contribute to my daughters Coverdell ESA after she was 18. Didn’t know you couldn’t.

I assume it falls under the -Deductions and credits -- ESA and 529 qualified tuition programs --- "Excess Contributions" section on her 1040. The normal limit is $2K, but since she's 18+, the maximum contribution is zero. Am i assuming correctly?

She is still a full time college student. And i still claim her as a dependent.
