Office of the Governor of Pennsylvania November 16, 2024 · Starting next tax year, Pennsylvania taxpayers can deduct up to $2,500 of student loan interest on their state taxes. We're cutting costs so Pennsylvanians can chart their own course.

Your answer is right here: "Starting next tax year,". The next tax year is 2025 - which returns we will be doing in early 2026. We are doing 2024 returns right now.
