Question

Daughter attending private Catholic preschool from Jan 2022 to June 2022 and private Catholic kindergarten Sept 2022 to dec 2022. Can claim expense for both?

Education expenses for grades K thru 12 are not deductible on a federal tax return.  Your state may have these expenses deductible on the state return and the TurboTax state program will ask for these if they are available in your state.

Hello. Thank you for response. Does that mean we can claim the months she was in preschool (Jan 2022 to June 2022)?

Only if she was in pre-school so that you could work, then you would be eligible for the Child Dependent Tax Credit.
