tells me I cannot count here as a dependent student since.  there is a question on her ez from asking "can someone else claim here on their taxes"  I assume I answer no since it tells me I cant count her.  But it takes about a 400$ swing if I answer yes or no.

Since she was not a full time student, her income limit for you to claim her is $4050 so you can't claim her. On her taxes, the answer to the question can someone else claim you on their taxes the answer is no. This will reduce the amount of taxes she owes because she will get an additional $4050 deduction from income.
