Question

Dependent children and 1098T

I have two dependent children in college who each received their 1098Ts from their respective universities. I included their 1098Ts on my 1040 through TurboTax, and claimed the Opportunity Tax credit.

My question is: When they do their respective taxes, do they also have to include the 1098Ts on their simple, one-employer returns, or can they file EZ?

No, they do not need to include form 1098-t on their tax returns.
