For 2020, my daughter took a year off from college to participate in the Disney College Program. She worked the program for five months in Florida and the remaining seven months worked part-time living at home in North Carolina. She is still our dependent but I don't know how to treat her living away from home for the five months?

Participants in the Disney college program receive a semester of college  credit for the time they in that program.   Treat it as if your student lived at home, just the same as if they were away at school in a dorm.

It’s not necessary that your daughter lived with you the entire year in order to claim her as a dependent, as long as all requirements are met.

Please see the TurboTax Help article Who can I claim as my dependent? for guidance.
