Do I claim a credit for 2023 contributions to a private school in 2022 for Arizona if I paid them instead of my state taxes?

Regarding the 'School Tax Credit', I don't know if I should check the box that reflects my AZ state tax liability payment made to a private school instead of to the State of Arizona Treasury (We are allowed to do that through the CTSO Program). I made the payment in early 2023 to offset the amount of my 2022 state taxes due with my return in April 2023. Should I check this box or the 'None of the Above' box?

To clarify,

Did you select to donate to Solutions Teams Assigned to Schools Fund?

That would have been selected on your 2022 Arizona Tax Return and is not a credit, although it is a donation.

That does NOT send the tax you owe the State of Arizona to the fund, it simply allows you to make a donation through your state tax return. The donation is either taken out of your refund OR added to the tax payment you need to make.

Is this what you mean or something else?

According to the State of Arizona:

"Line 64 - Solutions Teams Assigned to Schools Fund You may give some or all of your refund to the Solutions Teams Assigned to Schools Fund. You may also give more than your entire refund. If you send in additional money with your return, include that amount on line 80. Enter the amount you want to donate on line 64. Gifts go to the Arizona Assistance for Education Fund. The Arizona Board of Education will distribute money to the Arizona Department of Education to fund solutions teams assigned to schools."
