Question

Do I need to do anything for military tuition assistance? I receive a 1098-T form from my school but I don't pay anything for college through the military.

My school only takes the money that I get through tuition assistance and nothing more. I don't know if there's anything I need to do with that form.

If you do not have any out of pocket expenditures, you are not eligible for a tax credit.  Do not enter the 1098-T form, in TurboTax (TT).

The 1098-T is only an informational document. The numbers on it are not required to be entered onto your tax return. However receipt of a 1098-T frequently means you are either eligible for a tuition credit or possibly you  have taxable scholarship income.

If you have neither, do not enter the form.
