Do I need to enter a 1098 form?

I have a mortgage interest statement do I need to enter it as well?

Yes, enter your mortgage interest statement if you believe you are eligible to itemize your deductions.  Meaning your itemized deductions are more than your standard deduction.  You may want to enter the information regardless, because some states allow you to itemize even though you do not itemize your federal.
