Do I need to file my 1098 if my loan was completely forgiven due to Covid?

I was not a full-time student and only attended for 2 months out of the semester. The form still has not arrived either so I'm confused about whether or not I will even get it or need to file it.

You can download your 1098 from the school website, and it is not obligatory to file it.

Whether you get any credit depends upon your tax return, and it may be a small amount of credit.  You can skip it if you wish.
