Do I need to register for seller's permit for teaching an arts and craft workshop that provides supplies to make a project?
In CA, I know that teaching services are non taxable. However, since participants will be making something, I'm not sure how the supplies/finished goods will be categorized and whether it is taxable to the participants or me, etc. If it's taxable, then would that require me to register for a seller's permit and get a resale certification when purchasing materials?
